Artful Insights – Gerard Curtis Delano
$10.00
Monday, August 4, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
Starting his art career as an illustrator on the East Coast, Gerard Curtis Delano initially ventured west hoping to experience the action and beauty of western scenes he often drew for magazines like Collier’s and Western Story. Moving permanently to Colorado in 1933, he transitioned from illustration to painting, and found a favorite subject in depicting the Diné (Navajo) of the Southwest.
