Artful Insights – Mabel Dodge Luhan
$10.00
Monday, September 8, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
Mabel Dodge Luhan was a woman ahead of her time. She was born into wealth but refused to conform to the societal expectations of women in the early 1900s. Instead, she found inspiration among the free-spirited, modern thinkers of Europe and America. She moved from Greenwich Village, NY, to Taos, NM, in 1917 because she was drawn to Taos’ distinctive beauty and its transformative spiritual power. Through her work as a writer, salon host, art patron, and social activist, Luhan was instrumental in bringing Taos to the attention of the artistic and literary world. This Artful Insight will explore the adventurous, passionate, and dramatic life of Mabel Dodge Luhan and her famous friends.
