Free Colorado Day 08/01/2026

For the first time in over a decade the American Museum of Western Art is opening on a Saturday! In celebration of Colorado’s 150th Anniversary, AMWA will open on Saturday, August 1st, offering FREE Self-Guided timed admission. It is highly recommended that you reserve a timed ticket, as this event is expected to sell out.

Galleries close at 4:30 pm. Last admission is at 4 pm. The Museum does not allow children under 8 years of age.
