The American Museum of Western Art (AMWA)– The Anschutz Collection is a nonprofit museum located in the historic Navarre Building in downtown Denver, Colorado.

Founded in 2010, the Museum is the permanent home of The Anschutz Collection, a collection of paintings that surveys the art of the American West from the early 19th century to the present.

We are open to the public on Mondays and Wednesdays for curated docent-led tours at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; for self-guided explorations at 11:45am and 3:00pm; and by appointment for larger groups and schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  For more information, please see the Hours and Admission and Purchase Tickets sections of this website or contact us here, or 303-293-2000.
